Why it matters

The GAN Integrity Platform is a cloud-based application delivered entirely through a web browser. Using a modern, up-to-date browser ensures:

  • Full access to every feature

  • Faster performance and fewer errors

  • Up-to-date security patches that keep your data safe

As a rule of thumb, always run the latest two stable versions of your chosen browser.

Supported desktop browsers

Browser Family Version
Microsoft® Edge™ Latest two stable versions
Google® Chrome™ Latest two stable versions
Apple® Safari™ Latest two stable versions
Mozilla Firefox® Latest two stable versions

Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser. The platform will not load in Internet Explorer because the browser’s JavaScript engine is outdated and insecure.

Required browser settings

Make sure the following are enabled:

  • JavaScript

  • Cookies

  • Local storage

  • TLS v1.2 or above

These settings are enabled by default in all major browsers.

Mobile & tablet support

Employee-facing interfaces (e.g., questionnaires, disclosures) are optimized for mobile. Administrator features are desktop-only.

Mobile OS Supported browsers (latest two stable versions)
Apple iOS  Safari Mobile
Android™ Chrome Mobile, Firefox Mobile, Samsung Internet

Keeping support current

Browser vendors release updates frequently. GAN may phase out older browser versions as they become unsupported by the vendor. To avoid disruption, enable automatic updates or check for updates regularly.
