AI Analytics & Dashboards is an add-on feature. Contact your Customer Success Manager for access.

Everything you need to know about GAN's new self-service analytics and AI-powered reporting.

Overview:

Q: What is AI Analytics & Dashboards?
AI Analytics & Dashboards is GAN Integrity’s new self-service reporting solution that gives compliance and risk teams instant access to the insights that matter most. It lets you create, explore, and share reports and dashboards on your own—no more waiting for changes or custom builds from GAN or IT. The AI layer allows you to ask questions about your compliance data in plain English and instantly see visual answers—charts, tables, and summaries that reveal what’s changing, why it’s changing, and where to focus next. With AI Analytics & Dashboards, your team can surface the data your board, auditors, and executives need in real time, turning compliance reporting from a time-consuming task into a strategic advantage.
Q: What is the AI functionality?
This allows users to type natural-language questions like "Which vendors have the highest residual risk?" and receive instant charts, tables, or summaries — without needing any technical or BI skills. All AI responses respect your existing data access permissions.
Q: How is this different from our current reporting setup?

Previously, all changes to your reporting environment had to be requested from GAN. With AI Analytics & Dashboards (depending on package chosen), your team can:

  • Create and edit their own dashboards and analyses independently
  • Ask questions about your data using plain English
  • Share dashboards with stakeholders who can ask their own follow-up questions
  • Manage which users have access to reporting — all without GAN involvement
Q: What’s the value of this feature?
AI Analytics & Dashboards turns compliance data into instant insight. Instead of waiting on static reports or IT support, teams can ask questions in plain language and get immediate answers—charts, summaries, and trends that show what’s happening, why it’s changing, and where to focus next. For executives, it means walking into board meetings already equipped with the metrics that matter—risk exposure, due diligence performance, and program impact—without the scramble of manual reporting. It’s the difference between chasing data and confidently leading with it.

What's Included?

Q: What features are available at launch?

Depending on the package chosen, the initial release includes the following capabilities:

  • Natural Language Visual Creation — type a question a chart or table is generated instantly
  • Edit— modify existing visuals using plain-English instructions (e.g., "filter to high-risk only")
  • Q&A on Published Dashboards — Readers can ask follow-up questions on shared dashboards
  • Self-Service Role Management — Client Admins can assign and manage user roles independently
  • Customer-Specific Datasets — your data, securely separated, configured based on your implementation
Q: What is not included in the initial release?

The following features are planned for later releases and are not available at this launch:

  • AI Stories — AI-generated narrative summaries of dashboards (planned H2 2026)
  • AI Scenarios — what-if modeling and predictive simulations (planned H2 2026)
  • Predictive analytics and trend forecasting
Q: Which modules does this work with?
At launch, AI Analytics & Dashboards is available for all the available modules within GAN Integrity.

User Roles & Access

Q: What user roles are available?

There are three roles in the system. Your GAN Implementation Manager will set up the initial roles, and your Client Admin can manage them going forward:

  • AI Creator — can create analyses, build dashboards, use all AI features, and share with Viewers. Requires an AI Creator license.
  • Creator — can create and edit dashboards using standard QuickSight functionality. No AI features.
  • Viewer — can view shared dashboards and use Q&A if enabled by the AI Creator.
Q: Who manages Viewer access?
Your Client Admin manages Viewer access directly from the reporting admin panel — no GAN involvement is needed. Creators and AI Creators can invite stakeholders as Viewer and control which dashboards they can access.
Q: Can Viewers create dashboards?
No. Viewers can only view shared dashboards and use Q&A on dashboards where this has been enabled. To create dashboards, a user needs at least an Creator license.

Getting Started

Q: What do we need to do to get started?
For new customers, your GAN Implementation Manager will set everything up as part of your implementation. This includes: configuring which data fields are reportable, enabling reporting in your admin area, and inviting your AI Creator users. Your datasets and Best Practice analyses are then generated automatically.
Q: What effort is required from our team?
Your team's main input is in the initial scoping workshop — identifying which data fields should be reportable and which users need which roles. After that, the technical setup is handled by your GAN Implementation Manager. Ongoing management of user access is self-service via your Client Admin.
Q: What about our existing dashboards?
Existing dashboards can be migrated. You will work with your GAN Implementation Manager to identify which dashboards are still relevant. Based on experience, most customers find that around one-third of existing dashboards are worth migrating — the rest are typically superseded by the new self-service setup.
Q: Is any training provided?
Yes. You will receive a Getting Started Guide and AI Prompt Library to help your team start using these features quickly. A walkthrough session can also be arranged with your GAN contact if needed.

Data, Security & Privacy

Q: Is our data secure?
Yes. Your data is fully isolated — there is no cross-customer data exposure. All interactions respect your existing dataset permissions and row-level security, meaning users can only see data they are already authorised to access. No raw data is exposed outside the reporting platform.
Q: Are our data or queries stored?
AI Analytics & Dashboards does not retain user queries beyond the active session unless explicitly configured otherwise. All queries and generated visuals are logged in activity logs, providing a full audit trail for your organisation.
Q: Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. Data used is processed in accordance with regional privacy requirements. GAN's EU customers operate in the EU Ireland AWS region. Your standard data processing agreement with GAN covers the use of this feature.

Pricing

Q: Is this a paid product?
Yes. AI Analytics & Dashboards is offered as a paid module. There are three packages available: Basic Analytics, Advanced Analytics, and AI-Enabled Analytics. Your GAN Account Executive or CSM can provide specific pricing details for your organisation.
Q: What is included in each package?

The packages are structured as follows:

  • Basic Analytics — Best Practice dashboards, standard datasets. GAN-managed (Charged for updates).
  • Advanced Analytics — Adds Creator licenses, self-service dashboard creation, and more Viewer seats.
  • AI-Enabled Analytics — Adds full AI capabilities, Viewer licenses, and AI prompt building.
Q: Are there add-ons available?
Yes. Additional Creator, AI Creator, and Viewer license packs can be purchased if you need more seats than are included in your base package. Speak to your GAN CSM for details.
