About clips

Clips are placeholders that can be added to email templates in order to make emails sent from the platform more relevant and personalized.

Campaign relevant clips

Following you will find the relevant clips that may be used in the campaign email templates with a description of each:

NB: Clips will NOT be populated in test email, as clips will show once the actual email is sent from the system. This means that when a test email is sent (from mceclip0.png) the placeholder will show the label of the clip, for example -campaign.recipientUrl- and not https://XXX.gan-compliance.com/recipient/campaigns/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.
