About Training Manager

The Training Manager allows you to create, share and maintain both e-learnings and tests.

E-Learnings and tests that are published can be used as tasks in campaigns.

Create a Draft E-Learning

Add an E-Learning

  1. Select Training Manager then E-Learning from the sidebar and click Create
  2. In the creation form, Basic section, fill out the necessary information:
    • Title
     
Label   Description
Title   The title given to this policy will be displayed to users viewing the policy in the default language.
     
Internal notes   Internal notes can be used to add information. These will be visible only to the managers that have created the e-learning and to those the e-learning was shared with.
     
Local Compliance Manager Permissions   E-Learnings can be shared with other Local Compliance Managers, you will have to select their name from the drop-down menu. By doing so, the selected Local Compliance Manager will be able to see and edit the E-Learning.
     
Set Minimum Course Viewing Time (Minutes)   Managers can set a minimum viewing time, by doing so employees that are recipients of the training will be able to complete it only when this viewing time has elapsed.
     

NB:

 

Please be aware that only Draft (mceclip0.pngE-Learnings can be deleted. If you want to know more about how to delete an E-Learning, please read here.

 

Upload a file to an E-Learning

  1. In the Upload or Link an E-learning Document section, choose Add a file in PDF or PPT format (mceclip2.png)
  2. The file has to be either a PDF or a PowerPoint (PPT)
  3. You can either click on Upload (mceclip2.png) or drag and drop the file
     
    NB: Please be aware that the maximum size for the files is 10 MB
     
  4. Once you have selected and uploaded the file, you will be asked to fill in the following information:
    • Language
    • E-learning title
    • Description
           
      Label  

      Description

      Language  

      The first E-Learning you add should be in the default language.

      E-Learning Title   This title will be visible to users that have selected the above language for their portal.
           
      Description   A description of the E-Learning can be added in this section and will be visible only for employees that have chosen this language for their portal
           
  5. Click on SAVE PROGRESS

Link an E-Learning

  1. In the Upload or Link an E-learning Document section, select Add a link (mceclip3.png)
  2. You be asked to fill out the following information:
    • Language
    • E-learning title
    • Description
    • Link
           
      Label   Description
      Language  

      The first E-Learning you add should be in the default language.

      E-Learning Title   This title will be visible to users that have selected the above language for their portal.
           
      Description   A description of the e-learning can be added in this section and will be visible only for employees that have chosen this language for their portal
           
      Link   The e-learning web address will have to be pasted in this field
           

      NB:

       

      Please be aware that if the link you are adding is a SCORM training, you will have to check (mceclip4.png) the This is a SCORM training box above the Link field. If you want to know more about SCORM trainings, please read here.

  3. Click on SAVE PROGRESS

Publish a Draft E-Learning

  1. Click on a Draft (mceclip0.png) E-Learning
  2. Click Publish and confirm by clicking YES
